The relatively small town of Calvi has a good selection of accommodation to suit all budgets, with small family hotels and larger upmarket chains competing for the steady flow of visitors in the summer months.
Those looking for four-star comforts should look out for the Best Western Premier Hotel. Situated in the hills above the town, it offers fantastic views of the town and the port.
Two well-respected hotels located close to the port area of town are the Grand Hotel De Calvi and the Balanea, both of which offer comfortable rooms in a convenient location.
Calvi itself is a gorgeous Corsican resort town with plenty more accomodation, some of it found near the many small beaches in the area, while cheaper options and pensione can be found in the hills behind. There are also plenty of traditional accomodation options in the old town, which places you right in the atmospheric heart of the town.
During the summer however you are advised to book in advance to avoid disappointment. Rates are also significnatly higher during the season too.
